Vendor Application Form

Personal information on this form is collected under the authority of The Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, and Chapter M.45 as amended, and will be used to determine eligibility for a lease to operate a stall at the City of Brantford Farmers’ Market. For inquiries pertaining to the collection of data please contact the City’s Privacy Officer (519) 759 - 4150.

Please list up to 10 products you are intending on selling at the Farmers’ Market, and also indicate if you prepared that item. This does not have to be a complete list of all products that you intend to sell. You may also include products you may be selling at different times of year due to holiday or seasonal availability.

Conditions

1. Stalls may be rented to individuals, incorporated companies or partnerships registered under provisions of the Partnership registration Act. Such stalls may not be transferred from one individual, corporation or partnership to another and such stall lease does not become an asset of any individual, corporation or partnership. (NOTE: If business is in partnership, it must be so registered under the provisions of the Partnerships Act R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.5, and a declaration listing the names of each partner must accompany such application.)
2. Vendors are required to supply own equipment for respective stall rentals (ie. refrigeration units, scales). All equipment shall be in good condition and compliant with applicable codes and bylaws.
3. The sale of products shall be limited to those pre-approved by the Market Clerk, alteration or change in product mix must be approved in writing by the Market Clerk (refer to Brantford Municipal Bylaw 117-2017 and amendments there to).
4. Applicable monthly, weekly or daily stall rental fees prescribed in current City of Brantford Fees and Charges Bylaw as amended are payable in advance.
5. I agree to abide by the regulations contained in Brantford Municipal Bylaw 117-2017 and amendments there to.
6. I understand that this short term license agreement and may be cancelled with cause on thirty days’ written notice from the Market Clerk or assigned designate.
