Request Marriage Ceremony at City Hall

The City of Brantford offers civil marriage ceremonies (Fridays only) at City Hall, 58 Dalhousie Street.

Once your request has been submitted and paid for City staff will review and follow up with you within 2 business days.

Please be advised that effective January 1, 2024 the marriage officiant fee will be $267.80 and $51.50 per witness.

Ceremony Information

Marriage ceremonies are only offered on Fridays.

Please be advised, the chosen date is not reserved until confirmation is received by a staff member from the Clerk’s Department.

If required, the City can provide two witnesses for a fee of $50.00 per witness (plus HST) and staff availability.
