Scare in the Square Volunteer Application

The City of Brantford is looking for volunteers for the annual Scare in the Square event happening on Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3, 2026. Volunteers will have the chance to be a part of the fun fall and Halloween themed spook-tacular activities happening at Harmony Square (89 Dalhousie Street) and Mohawk Park (51 Lynwood Drive).

Some volunteer opportunities include; HOWL-O-Ween Dog Parade, Haunted House, Drive-In Movie, Attraction Attendant, Scare in the Trail, Paranormal Tours, Silent Disco sign-up, roller skating sign-up, set up and tear down and more.

Volunteers must be available to attend mandatory virtual training on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The application deadline is Tuesday, September 22, 2026.

Please note that the information collected from this submission is collected under the authority of Section 10 (1) of Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, and will only be used for the purposes of contacting those applying to be volunteers for the 2026 Scare in the Square events.
