Young Canadians Interactive Area Application

The Young Canadians Interactive Area is a space for families to gather, enjoy interactive activities and learn about local community organizations during Brantford's Canada Day at Steve Brown Sports Complex/Lions Park on July 1, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. This area is free of charge for not-for-profit and/or non-profit organizations, community groups and clubs.

Deadline to submit application is June 9. Vendor applications may not be accepted after the deadline due to space availability.

Please note that personal information is collected under the authority of Section 10(1) of Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, and will be used for the purposes of contacting vendors regarding their Marketplace Vendor Application for the Canada Day event. By clicking submit you are confirming that you understand and agree to the following:

  • Staff has the right to refuse an exhibit/activity if deemed inappropriate or unsafe.
  • Proof of liability insurance may be requested.
  • Requests for specific booth locations will not be honored.
  • Booth placement is at the discretion of the Committee.
  • Corporate and for-profit vendors are not permitted in this location (marketplace only)
  • Exhibitors are required to provide their own tables, chairs, tents, tent weights, etc.
  • Hydro is not available at this location. Generators are permitted by organization, if necessary.
  • Set-up details, locations, and parking information will be emailed prior to the event.
  • Vendor vehicles are not permitted on-site during the Canada Day event. Vehicles must be off-site no later than 10:00 a.m. on July 1.
  • All applicants are required to have a Standard Form Automobile Liability Insurance that complies with all requirements of the current legislation of the Province of Ontario, having an inclusive limit of not less than $2,000,000 per occurrence for Third Party Liability, in respect of the use or operation of vehicles owned, operated or leased by the Contractor. (Each vehicle owner does not have to provide a COI but must have proof of $2 million automobile liability insurance available upon request.)
