Space Requirement and Pricing

Exact booth size MUST include your hitch and tent supports.

Vendor Set-up Times

Sunday, June 29th 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm or Monday, July 1st 7:00 am - 11:00 am.
If you require a different set-up time it must be approved by the Community Events Coordinator.

Menu Items and Pricing

The Canada Day Celebration Committee will be selling bottled water throughout the park at $1.00 for 500mL. Please regulate your 500ml bottle pricing accordingly.

Food Vendor Policy

The Canada Day celebration committee has the right to refuse a vendor if deemed inappropriate or unsafe. Registration fees are non-refundable. Set-up times and details will be communicated with approval of application. Vendors have no exclusivity.

Hydro Requirements

Note: Each 15’x15’ space contains one 15A circuit only. Extra Electrical hook-ups are an additional $50.00 per 15A circuit. Any extra power needed will be charged PRIOR to set-up. Indicate below how many and which electrical hook ups you require. Extra charges will apply for any modifications to Parks and Recreation electrical.

NEW! The Canada Day Committee is launching a waste reduction strategy during the Festival and we want YOU to participate.

Food Vendors will be contacted to discuss ways to limit waste during the event. Food Vendors who comply will be recognized as being waste friendly. Ask us for details!

Terms and Conditions

Effective May 2018, all food vendors/event organizers selling food at events must be licensed by the City of Brantford. Please contact the Clerk’s office at 519-759-4150 to complete the required business licence applications.

  • Payment by cheque, cash or credit card (non-refundable). Cheques can be made payable to City of Brantford, Canada Day Celebrations.
  • Sell / offer ONLY the products and/or services specified and approved.
  • Conduct business only within the space allocated.
  • Be neat, wear clean apparel and operate with proper hygiene practices and practice good customer service principles.
  • Remove all vending equipment, garbage container(s) and debris from the site upon the conclusion of business. Failure to do so will result in extra charges.
  • Comply with the provisions of all Canadian and Province of Ontario laws, City by-laws and other applicable regulations and the requirements of the Chief Building Official, Fire Department and Medical Officer of Health.
    On-Site Checklist, please ensure you have the following:
    • A minimum 100’, 12 gauge extension cord.
      Generators are NOT at each vendor booth, be prepared to have a cord that reaches.
    • Appropriate storage for your food items.
      Hot foods must be kept hot and cold foods must be kept cold. BCHU will be inspecting morning of July 1st.
    • Container to transport water.
      Potable water is provided, but must be shared among vendors.
    • A means to dispose of your cooking oils/ grease and waste water.
      A disposal charge of $50 will be applied to any vendor who fails to remove their grease/cooking oil and/or waste water from the park properly.
    • Your area is your responsibility, please take care of it.

  • Applicant shall provide a minimum $2,000,000 (2 million dollars) liability insurance including products and completed operations naming the Corporation of the City of Brantford, 100 Wellington Square N3T 5R7, as Additional Insured. The Vendors' insurance carriers and policy provisions must be acceptable to the City of Brantford and must remain in effect for the duration of this Event

Agree to Terms

Submit your completed application form and payment in full by June 17th, 2019 at 4:00 pm. Vendor applications may not be accepted after the deadline due to space availability.
