Business Licence Renewal

In recognition of efforts to combat the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, additional amendments have been made to accommodate businesses renewing their licence for the 2021 licensing year. 

The online business licence renewal system has been designed to better serve licensees by providing remote access. Before you begin, please ensure you have any supporting documentation ready to be uploaded in either JPEG or PDF format. Uploading this information will help to avoid process delays. Please enter your invoice number to begin the renewal process. Should you have any questions throughout the renewal process, please contacting licensing@brantford.ca or 519-759-4150.

Any business that is currently operating is required to renew their licence by March 31, 2021.

If your business is temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, please notify the Licensing Team of your operational status at licensing@brantford.ca. In accordance with Council approval, you are not required to renew your licence until you are ready to resume operations.

Personal information, as defined in the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA), is collected and authorized under Section 10(1) of the Municipal Act, 2001, and will be used to process your business licence and contact you with any pertinent information related to your business.
